And we are off.
Thursday- March 13th, 2008 - Philadelphia- Chicago- Los Angeles
We arrived in Los Angeles at 9:00pm Thursday evening to be whisked away by our friend Jacob to enjoy our first meal at In and Out Burger. Delicious as usual. And then we were off to see the all girl ACDC cover band, Whole Lot of Rosies, at the House of Blues in Hollywood. The band will be featured in the June or July issue of Hustler. They were awesome and the lead singer can really belt it out.
Today is Friday and we are chill'n in Manhattan Beach, checking out the town and taking care of a few last minute things-like hot sauce from Trader Joe's. Tonight we are going to Paul's favorite sushi restaurant and tomorrow we are going to fit in some California Mexican food. It's all about the food, the surf and the California weather.
Anyway, thought this would be the easiest way to share the trip with those at home. Once we get to New Zealand we will try to make it alittle more interesting with short captions and lots of pictures. I do wish I had my camera at the concert last night, but you can capture it all.
